BUTCHER BABIES

PSYCHOTHERAPY SESSIONS TOUR

I recently had the opportunity to attend a concert by Butcher Babies in Reno, Nevada as part of the Psychotherapy Sessions Tour. As a fan of their unique blend of heavy metal and punk rock, I was eagerly looking forward to experiencing their high-energy performance live.

The concert took place at a popular venue inside the Grand Sierra Resort, and the atmosphere was buzzing with excitement even before the band took the stage. As an opening act, they did a great job of warming up the crowd,

When the lights dimmed and the band members emerged on stage, the crowd erupted into cheers and applause. The energy in the room was palpable, and it was clear that Butcher Babies had a dedicated and passionate fan base in Reno.

From the very first note, it was evident that Butcher Babies were here to deliver a powerful and intense performance. Vocalists Heidi Shepherd and Carla Harvey commanded the stage with their fierce and captivating presence. Their vocal range and ability to seamlessly transition between melodic singing and aggressive screams was truly impressive.

The band's musicianship was equally impressive. Guitarists Henry Flury  delivered blistering riffs and face-melting solos, while bassist Ricky Bonazza and drummer Chase Brickenden provided a solid and thunderous rhythm section that kept the crowd headbanging throughout the night.

Butcher Babies played a mix of songs from their catalog as well as some fan favorites.  Each song was delivered with raw intensity and a level of energy that was infectious.

One of the highlights of the concert was the interaction between the band and the audience. Heidi and Carla made a point to engage with the crowd, encouraging them to sing along and participate in the performance.
